Career Certificate - Cosmetology
Program Description
The Career Certificate in Cosmetology prepares students for State licensure and employment in the areas of hair, nail, and skin care. This 1200 clock hour program uses a combination of theoretical, simulation, and hands-on instruction. Each student is strongly encouraged to consult an advisor or counselor prior to course registration.
Program Information
Cosmetology is a 12-month, 1200 clock hour program of study that prepares students for State licensure and employment in the areas of hair, nail, and skin care.
Classes begin in the fall, spring, and summer semesters and there are limited spaces available. The Cosmetology program is offered at the Pensacola, Milton, and Century campuses.
Program Admission Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- High School Dual Enrollment students are welcome.
- No high school completion or equivalent is required.
- Be accepted to the college and have completed the entire admissions process.
- This program is limited access due to equipment and space constraints.
