NUR 2003C Career Mobility Nursing Concepts

Introduces child, maternal health, and adult client care needs: safe and effective care environment, health promotion and maintenance, psychosocial integrity, physiological integrity, professional behaviors, communication, clinical decision-making, caring interventions, teaching and learning collaboration, and managing care activities which form the integrated framework for clinical practice. The student develops knowledge and skills with concepts, such as therapeutic environment, therapeutic communication, and therapeutic relationships. The course will encompass legal and ethical issues of the nurse, including Florida statues and the concept of professional boundaries.
