NUR 1020C Introduction to Nursing
Introduces the student to client care needs: safe effective care environment, health promotion and maintenance, psychosocial integrity, physiological integrity, professional behaviors, communication, clinical decision-making, caring interventions, teaching and learning collaboration, and managing care activities which form the integrated framework for clinical practice. The student will encompass legal and ethical issues of the nurse, including Florida Statues and the concept of professional boundaries.
