AMH 2020 American History from 1877

A history of the American experience in the post-Civil War years. This course will emphasize the growth of American industry and business and the social and economic reforms connected with that growth. The course will also emphasize the emergence of the United States as a world power during the 20th century and the ramifications that rise has had on foreign and domestic policy.
