An intensive study of human anatomy emphasizing normal physiology and disease states that result when normal homeostatic mechanisms are compromised. Topics covered include basic cellular function; tissue components of the body, cellular metabolism, integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems; and special senses.
